International music- und folklorefestival

Every two years at the second weekend of July the whole Schlitzerland is going crazy. The small region in the middle of Germany will celebrate from Thursday, 11th July till Monday, 15th July 2013, the so called Trachtenfest. It's an international music- and folklorefestival with artists from all over the world.

Music, dancing, party, international folklore, historical parade, fireworks and at the end a giant conga line through the medieval oldtown - join the party the Trachtenfest in Schlitz!Folklore and modern sounds, traditional costumes and jeans – no where else opposites clash so harmonically.
